About Mía
I am currently a college freshman majoring in industrial engineering at UTEP, although I teach English as a hobbie. I am Mexican but I lived in San Angelo, Texas for a great part of my life. I strongly believe that communication is key, whatever the student's education goals are I can help he/she get there as long as he/she are open to me about their struggles. I am very passionate about helping people become fluent in English!

I usually work with young students, ages 10 to 17, but I am prepared to work with persons of all ages at any level. My lessons are skill-focused, that means me and my student concentrate on either reading, writting, or speaking English. The first tutoring session is like a trial in which I evaluate the student's English level. After that trial session I build a lesson plan based on the student's abilities and goals.
