Andre has been giving me guitar lessons for almost a year now and I couldn’t be happier. I previously had a different guitar teacher but I stopped with him because we just kept learning how to play different rock and pop songs without really covering how music actually works as a whole. Andre is a whole different story. He’s taught me much more than just how to copy some guitar solo. He’s shown me the fundamental principles of chords, melodies, and songwriting and he’s helped me unlock the guitar as a way to create music of my own. He is a super passionate and articulate teacher and helps me to understand music in a way other teachers and the internet never could. Plus, he’s an amazing guitar player :)

I met Andre while in college, and for me, Andre was essential in helping me figure out the basics. I had very little guitar experience though I knew some things about harmony, and he helped me make sure me hands were in the right place, I wasn't using too much tension, and that I understood the history of the guitar from the perspective of rock and blues. Five stars, can't recommend highly enough!
