About Sofía
I am from Costa Rica. Formerly a dedicated nurse, I discovered the transformative power of yoga during my travels in India. Where I did my yoga training. Now, with an open mind and heart I am embarking on a new journey as a yoga teacher. Known for my active lifestyle, traveling around the world, I will bring a unique blend of qualities to the practice of yoga.

Recognizing the diversity of students, I offer modifications and adaptations to cater to various levels of experience and physical abilities. I often structure classes around specific themes, weaving in elements of yoga philosophy, mindfulness, and self-reflection. Typical Lesson Plan: Centering and Breath Awareness Warm-Up Cool Down Meditation or Savasana What Sets Me Apart as a Yoga Teacher: I emphasize the integration of physical, mental, and spiritual aspects of yoga, creating a well-rounded practice. I strive to create a supportive community by providing individualized attention, understanding the unique needs of each student. My yoga classes are open to students of all levels, backgrounds, and ages. Whether you're a beginner looking to establish a strong foundation, an intermediate practitioner seeking to deepen your practice, or someone with specific needs (stress reduction, flexibility improvement), my classes are designed to be adaptable and inclusive.
