About Quinn
I am a dedicated vocal tutor with 14 years of teaching experience and a Bachelor of Music Education with a focus on voice. My passion is helping students discover their unique sound while building strong, healthy technique. I teach a wide variety of genres, including classical, pop, jazz, and contemporary styles, allowing singers to explore and grow creatively.
My lessons are grounded in a balanced approach that combines ear training, harmony work, improvisation, and music theory. This ensures students not only sing accurately but also understand the music they perform. I emphasize vocal control, tone development, and expressive phrasing in every session.
I believe that each student learns differently, so I tailor lessons to match individual goals, skill levels, and learning styles. Beginners gain confidence and a strong foundation, while advanced students refine technique and expand their artistry. Song interpretation, stage presence, and emotional connection are always part of the journey.
Through consistent practice, reflective exercises, and creative exploration, students develop both skill and self-assurance. I create a supportive environment where curiosity and risk-taking are encouraged. My ultimate goal is to help singers achieve technical mastery while expressing themselves fully and authentically.

The Church Ensemble Player focuses on blending seamlessly with a group while maintaining clear pitch and controlled projection. They train to adapt vocal tone and dynamics for classical, pop, and jazz settings. Breath support and phrasing are emphasized to ensure clarity in both solo lines and harmonies.
The Crossover Artist develops flexibility to switch between genres with stylistic awareness. They refine vocal color, articulation, and expression to suit each style while preserving healthy technique. Head, chest, and mixed voice transitions are practiced for versatility and range.
Both personas strengthen musicality through rhythm, phrasing, and interpretation exercises. Ear training and interval recognition sharpen pitch accuracy across genres. Improvisation sessions build creativity and adaptability, particularly in jazz and pop contexts.
Modern technology enhances progress tracking. DAWs allow recording and self-review, metronomes reinforce timing, and pitch training apps ensure consistent intonation. Regular analysis and reflection guide improvement and confidence.
This methodology helps singers grow into versatile performers capable of navigating multiple genres while cultivating strong technique and expressive artistry.
