About Claire
My yoga teacher training was based at an organic farm nestled within an eco-yoga community in Eungella, Australia. Little did I anticipate the profound and lasting impact it would have on my life. The training went beyond simply instructing physical postures (asanas); it involved confronting and observing my own self.
By disconnecting from the influences of the bustling Western world, I was able to journey inward and explore the depths of my being. Through this process, yoga has facilitated the discovery, acceptance, and love of my true essence, ultimately shaping the person I am today.
My personal yoga practice revolves around embracing flexibility and self compassion, attuning to what I really need by connecting my mind and body back together coming off auto pilot mode. What do I really need, not what SHOULD I do, coming away from people pleasing and the never ending busyiness. Yoga can be a fired up sweaty yoga class to release excess energy and release anger. It can be a walk in nature, it can be completely slowing it down, journaling and moving slowly and gently as I surrender. It's giving myself time to STOP and rest which I used to find impossible! I have ended up doing yoga due to a very busy create ADHD mind. So yoga for me is about coming out of fight or flight mode, it's more than just the movement. Through the power of the breath, I find a reconnection with my inner self and the surrounding landscape of nature.

Let's connect to ourselves through yoga and nature. I love to theme my classes based on the seasons, aligning our practice with the natural rhythms around us. By linking yoga to nature and incorporating elements of foraging, we can deepen our connection to the earth and our own well-being.
In my sessions, we explore how the changing seasons influence our bodies and minds, and we use this understanding to enhance our yoga practice. Foraging allows us to connect more intimately with our environment, bringing a sense of mindfulness and appreciation to our lives. Join me in discovering the synergy between yoga, nature, and seasonal living, fostering a holistic approach to self-care and personal growth.
