About Carmela
Carmela has been studying music from the age of 3 under the tuition of Yasuki Nakamura, Ilya Isakovich, Jennifer King and Emile Cantor.
As a child violinist Carmela studied internationally - attending courses in Japan, Switzerland, Spain and France. She has performed concertos as a soloist with orchestra and trained as a chorister with Sydney Children’s Choir.
Carmela has tutored music theory and sight singing. She has also been assistant teacher at Esmeralda Tintner’s violin school for several years.
Carmela graduated from International Grammar school in 2022 with first in Music 2 and also in Music extension - 93/100 in HSC Music 2 and 47/50 in HSC Music Extension.
Carmela is now embarking on a career as a musician. Studying at the world renowned conservatorium - 'École Normale de Musique de Paris' under the tutelage of Liana Gourdjia.

All Carmela’s students learn to perform with confidence and read music very competently.
Carmela teaches the Suzuki method. This methodology is all about joy!

Perfect! My daughter has been learning violin with Carmela for 3 months using Suzuki Method. Carmela is definitely a brilliant teacher, and my daughter loves her!
