I'm Portia from South Africa, Johannesburg. My hobbies include reading, writing, hiking, art, cooking, baking and most importantly traveling. I get to learn more about different cultures, traditions, food and I get to experience things that are beyond my reach and different from what I'm immune to. My lessons are fun, relatable and memorable. Pop culture makes lessons more relatable hence I use it as one of my teaching strategies, it's easier to relate to a student and make lessons more practical for them. It's important to learn and grasp information but it's essential to have fun while at it.
