About Joni
I’m an English teacher from Australia. I lived in Italy for several years and that’s where I developed my love for language learning. It’s also where I learnt the tools of the teaching trade. I have traveled extensively and earned several degrees.
I also have a multitude of hobbies. Therefore, I can lead conversation topics over a wide array of areas, even if I do say so myself!
I’ve taught many students studying or working in medicine and IT. I love teaching Italians and I also have had many Russian students over the years.

I create personalised lessons for each individual student, taking your personal interests, work, and travel goals into account. I blend these themed lesson plans with target language areas, like grammar structure, vocabulary, fluency and so on.
My methods are constructionist and transformative as I believe in student autonomy. With my student led approach you will not only learn English, but learn how to learn a language.
