About Maria
Hi, My name is Maria, and I live in Oslo. In my free time I am interested in outdoor life, in addition to being social with friends and family. I work as a nurse in a 100% position at a rehabilitation center. In addition to nursing assignments, I also work a lot with motivation, training and also have teaching for patients, students and colleagues. I have always had an interest in pedagogy and personal development, something I will further my education in. I work in two-part shifts, and therefore often have free and flexible time in the mornings that I would like to spend on assignments.

I base my teaching on models, pictures and videos that I use for explanation, with the intention that the teaching will be more fun and exciting. At the same time, I think students both remember and understand more of the teaching when the explanation is connected with something visual. Discussions around topics are also a method I often use to activate and engage my students. I envision being able to teach in all groups that are interested in learning more in: reading and writing, how to write a bachelor's thesis, drug billing, health and social, nursing, biology, personal development, mindfulness, stress management, study techniques, etc. I have a lot of experience in miscellaneous, just ask if any of what I offer seems interesting. I dedicate myself to what my students want to learn more about, and therefore always start by discussing the desired learning outcome as well as the learning method for making a survey. It is important to me that my students feel seen, inspired and motivated for the topic.
