About Colette
Hi there! I'm Colette, a 3rd year veterinary student at Colorado State University studying to be a wildlife anesthesiologist. I have a Bachelor's of Science in Biochemistry from Brown University, and have worked as a genetic scientist in a genome sequencing lab. I love teaching and have been tutoring for over 12 years. I speak Italian, some Spanish, and have experience working with disabled students and ESL children.

I tutor all ages and grade levels, but my specialty subjects are grammar, math, science, and SAT prep. I also offer individualized counseling for students seeking to apply to veterinary school. I believe that learning is a tactile activity that should be fun, and therefore my teaching style is active and reciprocal. I do have experience working with children with ADHD, something that I have struggled with myself and therefore am very passionate about. I prefer to teach in person. Lessons can be held on CSU's campus or at your residence if within Fort Collins.
