This is a hands-on, project-based 4-week journey into real augmented reality development – built exclusively for 15–16-year-old teens.
You will learn to create and publish your own professional TikTok face filters and AR mini-games using TikTok’s official Effect House platform. Everything is done with visual programming and some code, so even complete beginners succeed from day one.
What you will master:
Face-tracking technology (eyes, mouth, head movement)
Importing and animating 3D models (crowns, sunglasses, anime eyes, Dubai landmarks, etc.)
Particle effects, sound reactions, and beat-reactive animations
Interactive AR mini-games that react to the user’s face and movements
Publishing your filters live to TikTok’s global library under your own creator name
By the end of week 4 you will have 3–4 original, fully published TikTok AR effects that your friends can actually use – plus a strong foundation in the core principles of augmented reality.
Future-ready skills:
The exact same visual programming and face-tracking concepts you learn here are the building blocks used in Meta/Ray-Ban smart glasses, Snapchat Spectacles, Apple Vision Pro, and full VR experiences. Once you finish this course, moving to advanced AR glasses or VR development will feel natural and straightforward.
