About Pallavi
Hello, I’m Pallavi — a certified yoga instructor with over 600 hours of training in Hatha Yoga, Ashtanga Yoga, and Prenatal/Postnatal Yoga from Yoga Alliance-recognized schools in India. With more than 4 years of experience teaching both in-person and online, I bring a deep, authentic understanding of yoga rooted in traditional practices, combined with a modern, inclusive teaching style. My approach emphasizes alignment, breath awareness, and mindful movement, helping students develop not just physical strength and flexibility, but also inner calm and clarity. As a certified yoga instructor with over 600 hours of training in Hatha, Ashtanga, and Prenatal/Postnatal yoga, my teaching approach is rooted in traditional Indian yoga while being adapted to suit modern needs and diverse bodies. My focus is on creating a safe, inclusive, and enriching space for students of all levels.
Teaching Method and Techniques:
I guide students through a breath-centered practice that emphasizes proper alignment, body awareness, and mindful movement. I incorporate modifications and props to ensure accessibility, and I adjust the intensity based on individual capacity and goals. My sessions often integrate pranayama (breathwork), asana (postures), and brief moments of meditation for a holistic experience.
Typical Lesson Plan:
Each session is structured into four parts:
Opening (5–10 min): Centering with breath awareness and gentle warm-ups
Main Practice (30–35 min): A sequence based on the day’s theme (strength, balance, flexibility, relaxation)
Peak Pose or Focus Area (10–15 min): Deeper exploration of postures, transitions, or techniques
Cool Down & Savasana (10 min): Gentle stretches, restorative poses, and guided relaxation
Themes may also include backbends, hip openers, stress relief, or prenatal care—depending on the student’s needs.
