Praveen sir is an excellent, committed, kind and patient teacher. I have had the good fortune to study sanskrit vyakarana and Vedanta texts under him for the past one and half years. With a lot of in-depth experience, he has a well-honed and effective method, which is deeply analytical and which he customises to the needs of individual students, making them think for themselves. In addition, he keeps the traditional ethos alive as well! So, hats off to that!

Praveen is an inspiring teacher who make his students analyze and understand well at each level of learning. I study Sanskrit for the purpose of understand Vedanta, his vast vedanta background made him a perfect teacher for me. I am sure more people will benefit from his teachings.

Praveen has an traditional approach to teaching, which implies that one is introduced to Ashtadhyayi in the very beginning of learning Sanskrit.
This helps one even in the early stages appreciate why Sanskrit language is the language of the Gods and why Panini must be Shiva himself.
He tries to find out each person's shortcomings and helps each person at their level, also introducing us to various shortcuts to remember the complex rules of grammar.
Praveen has a refreshing no-nonsense approach to Vedanta, where he strictly adheres to Shankara Bhashya, Tikas of the Advaita tradition, and his own personal experience.

Sri Praveen Bhat has been teaching Sanskrit from the basic level to advanced level for a long time. He has profound knowledge of the language and explains the concepts clearly. He has been teaching us Laghusiddhantha Kaumudi to us which is difficult to understand but he takes the time to explain it to make us understand. He motivates his students and his classes are very interesting.

I attended classes taken by Sri Praveen Bhat on Viveka Chudamani and Sanskrit grammar Laghu Siddhantha Kaumudi. His in-depth knowledge and keenness to impart the same in simple and easily comprehensible approach have been very helpful in learning the subjects. I am sure his students will gain comprehensive understanding of even difficult notions from his teaching. His easy approach in drawing out the students to seek clarifications of their doubts and learn the subject through interactive exercise sessions have enabled the students to gain a firm grounding in the subjects. His wide understanding of the subject- Vedanta , evidenced by citing relevant passages from related works was a treat to listen and gain a comprehensive picture. His deep knowledge of the subject reflected in authoritative explanations has shed clarity even on tough issues. His friendly approach is sure to endear him to the students.

Praveen is an excellent Sanskrit Grammar Teacher. Just in a few classes I was able to understand the beauty of the language. His commitment to teaching till the student understands is appreciable. Extreme dedication, thorough preparation, indepth knowledge, ability to present the simplest to the most complex topics with ease are a few of Praveen ji's varied talents. While in class he mentors us to think logically and offers a variety of examples to analyse and gain and indepth understanding of the subject.
