About Rishrity
My name is Rishrity Hazarika. I am currently pursuing my MSc in Clinical Psychology. I have been dancing since I was 4 years old. I'm trainedin Bharatnatyam, Sattriya, Semi-classical, and Bollywood.As I have grown up, I started experimenting and choreographing pieces on my own. I started respecting my body, it's strengths and weaknesses.When I was a student of performing arts, it was then when I had learnt the concept of stage presence and how a simple choreography can make you stand out from the others if you gain an insight into grace and start exploring more with your own creativity. Every dancer has anX factor, but for that one will have to fall in love with music.

I do not want to focus on teaching a choreography to beginners or dancers. For me, it's very important to learn the right posture, grace and abhinaya (expressions) that will make one stand out from other dancers who is taught a choreography without teaching basics of stage presence.
