About Dyuti
Hi! I'm Dyuti, a Hindustani Classical Vocalist with over 15 years of formal training and a Master's degree in Music from Bengal Music College, Kolkata. I am an independent Vocal Coach teaching both children and adults through interactive online classes. My teaching focuses on building strong musical fundamentals, developing voice quality, and helping students grow in confidence. I look forward to guiding you on your musical journey. I warmly welcome my students into the beautiful world of Hindustani Classical Music through a fun, encouraging, and structured learning approach. My goal is not only to teach singing but also to help my students develop confidence, discipline, concentration, and love for Indian classical arts. I understand that every student learns differently, so I give personal attention and teach at a comfortable pace, ensuring that learning music remains joyful and stress-free.
The usual structure of my class includes:
- Voice warm-up and vocal training exercises
- Sargam practice and voice tuning with Saptaks
- Practice of Alankars, Paltas, and swara variations
- Raga training with detailed explanation and practice
- Song learning
I conduct classes with the support of Harmonium, Tanpura / Digital Tanpura, and Tabla. After each class, I provide practice guidance and voice recordings to help students practice correctly and progress faster. I focus on developing students’ natural voice. I put strong focus on confidence-building and performance readiness. Also, provide flexible learning based on student pace.
Online classes are available for students of all age groups and skill levels. I believe music should be learned with joy, discipline, and emotional connection, not pressure.
