About Hadrien
I'm half French and half Chinese, and grew up across multiple countries, becoming a native speaker of all three languages (French, Chinese, English) plus conversational Spanish. Having learned languages myself, I understand what works, what's frustrating, and how to keep lessons engaging. I recently finished my undergrad studies in Canada and moved to Melbourne. I'm excited to help you on your language journey!

French is a daunting, difficult language to learn, and I believe that the best way for you to learn is by staying motivated and genuinely excited to learn French. I don’t see teaching French as simply writing dictées or memorizing a handful of words, but rather through speaking focused activities that keep you engaged but also allows you to implement what you learn in real world conversations you would actually have with a French speaker. My lessons are 1/2 learning and 1/2 practice, with the expectation that students come with the desire to learn and implement their knowledge in speaking exercises.

Perfect! I’ve had two lessons with Hadrien to-date and he has been great. He has been patient with my beginner level and also has good insight into vernacular and idioms which is helping with my fluency. Would recommend

en really noticeable. Really glad I stuck with it.I really liked learning French with Hadrien. He was energetic and made learning fun!
I was learning French at school but had a really tough time with the grammar, especially with the subjunctive. Working with Hadrien outside of school really helped me understand the rules behind the grammar better and I finally got it!
Hadrien has been helping me learn French and honestly it’s been a blast! Feels more like chatting with a friend than a formal lesson, and my listening and speaking has really gotten better because of it. 10/10 would recommend.
