About Simone
I’m a recent Master's degree graduate (with Merit) from Trinity Laban Conservatoire of music and dance in violin performance, with over twenty years' experience of professional playing in all contexts (solo, chamber music, orchestra, rock bands) and in a wide variety of genres such as classical, gypsy-jazz, rock, metal and even pop. I also work as a peripatetic teacher for schools across London and have experience working with students at widely different stages of violin learning.
As a violinist, I was classically trained on standard violin rep so I am no stranger to the rigour and discipline the study of the instrument demands but my journey as a musician has taken me far and across to many other genres. As a teacher, I aim to give my students the means and tools to reach their goals while also encouraging them to try things outside standard canon so that they can truly experience all facets of playing to get the most out of the instrument.
