About Jane
I am a professional trombone player working in the theatre, orchestral and educational worlds. I am very proud to bring all of my experience to my lessons. I am currently based between Hornsey N8 and Old Street EC1 and I am open to taking on new students, please get in touch!

I have 10+ years of teaching experience at every level and have enjoyed helping many young people reach their individual goals. My current teaching positions are Highgate School and St Paul's Cathedral School. I am a regular tutor for the National Children's Orchestra. I have also worked with Aldeburgh Young Musicians, Orchestras for All and the outreach departments of the Royal Opera House, London Symphony Orchestra and Academy of St Martin in the Fields. Previous teaching experience includes leading independent schools - St Paul's Boys School, Barnes, Guildford High School and Royal Grammar School (Guildford). I am hugely passionate about my instrument and I am an Associate Performer for the Gender and the Large and Shiny Instruments (GALSI).
