About Donath
Hello, my name is Donath and I have been playing the tuba passionately since I was 9 years old. I have been studying at the University of the Arts in Berlin for two years. I gained my musical and educational experience in orchestras (both amateur and professional orchestras). As a lecturer, I've been booked in many different ensembles to work with vocal groups or other ensembles. I led various chamber music ensembles. Through my experience, I am able to respond individually to my students and to find an individually successful path for each.

I work out a concept with the student based on the current level of performance. Personal wishes and goals are of course in the foreground. Basically, a good sound and breathing is an important building block for playing tuba. My knowledge is influenced by many great tuba players. (Examples include Walther Hilgers and Arnold Jacobs)
