About Joseph
*Lessons Available for September Sitting*
Hey, I'm Jo!
I'm an English/History Teacher, the perfect combo of skills to help you wring the best S1/2 score out of your next GAMSAT Sitting.
I'll provide you with methodologies to get comfortable with the humanities aspect of the GAMSAT. I will teach you:
- How to approach these daunting sections,
- How to practice most effectively
- How to maximise your scoring potential on the big day
My S1 Approach is based on interpreting diverse texts, processes of elimination/test smartness, and time management.
My S2 Approach is based on leveraging your pre-existing knowledge and beliefs to construct compelling texts (rather than memorising philosophy facts!)
I'm happy to give S3 advice (I scored 68) but my speciality is the 1 and 2 :)

DISCLAIMER - There are many awesome free GAMSAT prep materials on youtube: Don't miss out on 90+ GAMSAT (s2) and Jesse Osbourne (s3). If you do choose to go the paid route, I'd strongly advise you stay away from prep companies and paid question banks, and stick with private tutors (I have plenty of reccomendations for awesome ones)

I'd heavily recommend Joseph as a teacher! He's an amazing writer!! He's a great analyst, in relation his approach to writing and tackling GAMSAT questions. I'm very sure having his advice will help propel you to reach and exceed your GAMSAT related goals!
Jo customized a unique strategy for improving my section 2 essay writing and offered numerous effective tips to tackle section 1 with greater ease.
Jo helped tutor me for sections 1 and 2 in GAMSAT and made a huge improvement with my skills in both. He's super chill and very easy to get along with, and as well as being extremely knowledgeable. He helped tailor an unique approach to my s2 essay writing and shared many effective tips that made s1 more approachable. He's also great if you want to have an elaborate philosophical discussion. Highly recommend!!
I've known Joseph for well over a year by now and have known him to not only be a remarkable tutor, but additionally an amazing person. His ability to teach through effective communication skills is unparalleled and his prior experience as a teacher makes him well-versed in educating people in not merely the GAMSAT, but in all fields and areas of life.
