About Yifan
I have experience in teaching english to international students abroad for around two years who are mainly children of primary and secondary school ages. This gives me the patience and dedication to work with children from a range of ages.
Being a maths prefect at my school gives me the confidence and ability to understand and explain to younger years their problems and queries.
I have been tutoring 3 students since September 2019 for the 11+ and therefore have an accurate grounding of the exam content and knowledge.

Currently I am a final year undergraduate University student at UCL who took Maths, Geography and Economics at A-level. I have confidence that I will be able to inspire and motivate students from all backgrounds and at all levels to strive for their main aim in their academics and, to help achieve the grade they desire.
Having taken the 11+ and scoring full marks (423) through the Kent test (maths, verbal and non-verbal reasoning), I have the knowledge and experience required to bring out peak performance from my students and enable them to access the top scores. To make the most of the lessons, it is advised that students bring problematic questions beforehand in order to go through them step-by-step in lessons and find the solutions together!
Near examination periods I will be providing advice and guidance on techniques used within the exams for a confident breeze through the stressful time.
