About Yash
I hold a Bachelor's degree and a Canadian diploma in Computer Science. I've tutored university students in Java, C++, and Python. My own coursework included data structures, algorithms, operating systems, and databases – so I understand the topics that trip students up. I don't just give answers; I teach you how to debug, think through problems, and write cleaner code. Outside of tutoring, I build my own projects (like a key-value database and a Raft library). I'm patient, clear, and happy to re-explain things as many times as you need.

This class is for students learning Java, C++, or Python – from first-year courses to upper-year assignments. Each session is tailored to your current problem: debugging a segmentation fault, understanding pointers, implementing data structures, or preparing for an exam. I explain concepts step by step, then we work through code together. You’ll leave with working solutions and a clearer understanding. I hold a Bachelor’s degree and a Canadian diploma. First 30 minutes are free – we’ll look at what you’re stuck on and make a plan. Online via Zoom + shared editor. $10/hr after the free session.
