About Charlotte
Performing and teaching for over 10 years, inspiring people worldwide, of all ages and abilities, to play the violin/viola and appreciate a range of musical genres. I have spent a lot of time travelling the world playing music. Holding a degree in world/contemporary music but classically trained, I continued my studies to complete a Postgraduate Diploma in performance at Trinity College of Music, London.

I have an empathetic, encouraging teaching approach. Obtaining a strong technical foundation is essential, I believe, for playing with confidence, enjoyment and passion! I love to work on music the student enjoys and if this is uncertain I will of course help in the discovery process. If the student wishes to work towards exams they would do so with my full support and guidance throughout. The most important aspect is to enjoy the journey of learning, playing and understanding the instrument and its potential.
