About Nadia Tasneem
Hi! My name is Nadia, and I graduated from University College London with a Bachelor's Degree in English in 2021. I've been teaching English for the last 8 years, when I set up an English teaching program after school in 2014.
Teaching my many students over the years has given me much joy. I've worked with a wide range of students - some who needed to go from an A to an A*, and many who were starting with an F or an E in school. Some of my students didn't speak English as a first language as they come from immigrant family backgrounds. All of my students have been a pleasure to teach, and have walked away from my sessions with confidence in their exam skills and a newfound passion for learning English.
I have yet to teach a student who didn't achieve at least an A at the end of their GCSEs! My philosophy is that everyone can excel at English if you have a teacher who can inspire confidence and creativity in you.

Hi! My name is Nadia, and I have a passion for teaching English. I am happy to work with students of all levels, and have worked with many struggling / second language students in the past. I tailor all my lessons according to my student's level.
My philosophy is to inspire students with the beauty of English, and to give them confidence with exam formats. A lesson will run 1-2 hours depending on my student's capabilities and needs.
I have taught English Language and English Literature to many GCSE / A Levels students over the last 3 years, and so am very familiar with exam formats and the syllabus. I myself have graduated from University College London with a BA in English, and so I understand the importance of balancing exams with personal passion!

As my IGCSE English Language and Literature tutor, she taught me how to analyse and explain text such that I was easily able to answer exam questions.
She clearly displayed a deep understanding of the English Language and made the subject easy to learn. While teaching me, Nadia was patient and very approachable. She also came very prepared for lessons which optimized my learning experience.
