About Dhruva
I am a first year Neuroscience major at University of California Los Angeles who attended high school in Bangalore, India. I loved science and math ever since I was a kid because it was the strength of my entire family. In my free time, I love to play cricket and dance and I am even part of the Bollywood Dance team here at UCLA which helps me destress.

As someone who recently graduated high school with flying colors, it is simpler for me to connect with students who are at the same age range as me so that I can easily relate with the same problems they have with them and act as a mentor at any point in time too.
My teaching methods are extremely flexible based on what the student/parent wants. However, in general, I make a dedicated effort to ensure that the student understands the topics that they are learning conceptually not only to pass their classes but to also build an appreciation for the subject.
I have been teaching Mathematics and Science for 4 years to middle school students and even had a course on Psychology. Now that I am in college, I can teach high school students too!
In high school, I achieved 8A* and 1A in IGCSEs and a 43 on the IB. I scored the highest in all science and mathematics subjects and unfortunately missed out on a few points in the language courses :(.
