About Philemon
I’m a dedicated third-year Electrical and Computer Engineering student at UCT with a strong passion for Math and problem-solving. I’ve developed a clear, patient teaching style through helping classmates and younger students understand challenging concepts. I take pride in being reliable, organized, and genuinely invested in each student’s progress. My goal is to create a supportive learning space where students feel comfortable asking questions and confident in their ability to improve.

My lessons are all about helping you actually understand Maths, not just memorise steps. As a UCT Electrical & Computer Engineering student, I know how confusing Trig, Geometry and Calculus can feel, so I break everything down in a clear, simple way. I teach in English, and I adjust my pace to match your level, whether you’re in high school or starting university.
In each lesson, we go through your problem areas, work through examples together, and build your confidence one step at a time. My approach is patient, structured, and focused on making sure you leave every session feeling more prepared and less stressed.
