My name is Dalton, and I approach tutoring with a strong emphasis on clarity, consistency, and professionalism. I take the responsibility of teaching seriously and make sure each lesson is well-prepared, focused, and tailored to the student’s goals. I’m Dalton, a math tutor with over eight years of experience working with students from elementary school through college-level coursework. I hold a Bachelor of Science in Statistics from UNC Chapel Hill, and I’ve spent years helping students build both skill and confidence in math. My approach is patient, collaborative, and focused on making concepts actually click rather than relying on memorization or rushed explanations.

My lessons are structured but flexible. We usually start by identifying what the student is currently working on and where things feel confusing or frustrating. From there, I break concepts down into simple, logical steps and work through examples together before letting the student try problems on their own with guidance.
