I came into the lessons with a couple of specific goals. I wanted to learn how to play some specific songs, wanted to learn how to improvise and solo over blues songs, and overall be able to play the acoustic guitar in an entertaining way. Avery has me making steady progress toward all of these after just a couple of lessons! Also, he is good at communicating and setting up virtual lessons.

Perfect! I hired Avery to work with my 9 year old son on guitar. He is an extremely talented musician and has given me some great pointers on the drums as well. Avery has an excellent innate ability to relate with kids and has My son really motivated to learn! Playing is seamless for Avery, but he is able to break out down in an emphatic way that is easily relatable for people of all ages and abilities. We definitely recommend him for your learning music interests.
