About Christopher
I am currently a student at The University of Essex, studying Financial Economics. Before going to university I studied A-Level Maths, Physics and Economics (No I'm not a nerd!...;). My name is Christopher Johnston but just call me CJ. I am studying with the goal of becoming an investment banker. I believe that learning should be engaging and I strive to do my best to make sure that each lesson will be, studying doesn't have to be boring and draining even if it's challenging at times. But, at the very least, I guarantee that you will have learned something new with a laugh or two at the end of the lesson.

As a current student myself, I can sympathise with the feeling of falling behind/wanting to get ahead and I am willing to work at your pace.
- Lessons will be online
- Flexible sessions (ideally 2-3 hours per session)
- Aimed at students in Yr 10 or 11 as prep for GCSEs
- Adaptable to individual needs i.e. working through class material and/or providing extra support
working arrangement:
As stated the lessons will be online and will last for approximately 2 hours (flexible), enough time to get stuck in but not too much to feel overloaded. I have an iPad and will be able to share my screen to visually work through problems. I will also provide guided lessons via PowerPoint, tailored to whichever exam board you are working with. At the end of a session I will give you some questions to take away with you (not too many I promise) ensuring that you've understood what we have covered and can move on. Additionally, do not hesitate to send me any questions, worksheets or topics you would like to work through together. I like to make lessons as engaging as possible, I believe everyone has their own unique learning style and how I support you should be tailored to that style.
