About Ejaz
I am 23 years old and have an incredible STEM foundation. I have swapped my major 3 times to find the right fit for what I want to pursue. I first started out as a Physics major then swapped to Information Technology and received by Associate degree as well as my Linux Administration License, and finally swapped to Computational and Applied Mathematics with a focus in Data Science. I am interested in Financial Engineering and have obtained my SIE (Securities Industry Essentials) License as my first initiative into the financial services. I love to help people and tutor. I have been doing it as a job for 4 years and set up my own business through Nextdoor. I have 3 younger siblings, all in college now, so technically i've been leading and tutoring other students most of my life, so to be able to engage with other students and relate to them comes naturally to me. I am an avid believer that sometimes the best way for students to grasp a concept and/or understand it fully is to be taught by someone who can they can relate to and be comfortable around rather than their teacher/professor.

My lessons follow the approach:
1. Assess and evaluate the subject(s) the student struggles with
2. Prepare a plan for the student follow to excel in that subject
3. Teach the student valuable study habits that will work specifically for them (each student learns different)
4. Build the student's knowledge on the topics of the subject so that they may understand and execute on future topics
I tutor lessons form elementary math to college level Differential Equations. My techniques involve building comfortability with the topic through repetition of example problems, personalizing worksheets to the student's necessities, and teaching different approaches that may work better for the student.
Many times the best way for a student to learn is to get taught by another student!
