About Kylie
Hi, my name is Kylie! I am currently an undergraduate studying health sciences at the University of Minnesota Rochester in hopes to go to medical school to get my MD or get my master's in anesthesiology to become a CAA. I have loved math all of my life which has led me to become a calculus I & II UAA (undergraduate academic assistant) at my current college. I have had a wonderful time teaching fellow students about the art of math, specifically calculus. Calculus is, in a sense, an art form and its own language. Sometimes it takes just the right person to teach the concepts for students to understand (and I can be that person)! All in all, I hope to provide tutoring services in order to enrich the next generation of math students!

I typically go through general concepts and apply them in a series of practice problems (textbook based or questions I have made up) varying in difficulty. If a student does not seem to understand material as given, I look to simplify the mathematical processes into a way that they would understand best! I am looking to tutor students who may be struggling in high school (or AP) or college-level calculus classes.

Kylie has helped me tremendously to study for nursing school admission math testing. Would recommend her for fellow students struggling in math.
Even when the professor failed to teach calculus to her students, Kylie would take great amounts of time out of her own busy schedule to make sure the students who need ed help got it. I spent the whole of the semester always clueless in calculus, but Kylie would be really patient with the students and made sure they knew what we’re doing in the week leading up to the exam. If it was not for her, I would NOT have gotten an A in calculus. Thank you, Kylie.
