About Joshua
I have a background in education which began when I taught classes in constitutional law, politics and philosophy at the John Locke Institute. I studied Politics, Economics, History and Drama at A-Level and am now reading for a degree in Jurisprudence (Law) at the University of Oxford. In my spare time I debate, moot, play rugby and am Director of Press at the Oxford Union.

My ambition for my tutorials is that my students feel able to engage and challenge, rather than simply be taught. In my experience, top universities aren’t simply seeking intelligent students, but highly teachable individuals who are both interesting and interested. These are the qualities which I endeavour to foster in my tutorials. Depending on the needs of the student, I can either teach sessions which are solely focused on exam technique or centre around broader academic discussions and interview preparation.
