About Elizabeth
Afrikaans is a beautiful language. I am a native Afrikaans speaker and love to teach it to those who are interested. With it's similarities to languages like Dutch, German and Flemish, it also offers a good base from which to learn other European languages.
I am a Unisa graduate with experience in running my own business for more than 5 years. I understand that each student is different and needs tailored lessons to suit their learning styles. That is exactly why I offer unique lessons for each student, using a combination of reading practice, vocabulary and grammar tools, as well as speaking opportunities to exercise pronunciation.

I am a native Afrikaans speaker and completed AS Level Afrikaans through Cambridge University. I have 2 years experience in tutoring both English and Afrikaans to a wide range of students at all skill levels, from children to adults.
Typical lessons can last from 30 min - 60 min.
I offer a friendly and patient method to Afrikaans tutoring, using a variety of materials and methods to deliver lessons. Reading, writing, grammar, vocabulary and language skills all contribute to a strong Afrikaans foundation.
I will tailor the lessons to your needs, so no need to worry about being unprepared for your lessons.
