About Rosita
Hi! I’m currently a second-year Bachelor of Arts student at the University of Auckland, majoring in Psychology and Education. I’m passionate about working with children and supporting their learning in creative, positive, and encouraging ways.
I have experience teaching young children art, including drawing, painting, and clay, and I enjoy helping them build confidence and express themselves through creativity. My studies in Psychology and Education have also helped me better understand children’s learning styles, development, and individual needs.
I am fluent in English, Cantonese, and Mandarin, which allows me to communicate comfortably with both students and parents from different backgrounds. My goal is to create a fun, patient, and supportive environment where children can enjoy art while developing their creativity and confidence.

My lessons are designed for children and beginners who want to learn drawing and art in a fun and supportive way. I like to teach step by step and adjust each lesson based on the student’s age, level, and interests.
I focus on helping students build confidence, creativity, and basic art skills through drawing, colouring, painting, clay, and other hands-on activities. I always try to make lessons enjoyable, encouraging, and easy to follow.
A lesson is usually around 1 hour. I can teach in English, Cantonese, and Mandarin, which helps me communicate well with both children and parents.
