About Fargol
Hi, I’m Fargol! I’ve just graduated with a bachelors degree in English from the University of Cambridge, and I have over 3 years of tutoring experience, having started tutoring when I was in sixth form. From teaching Minimus Latin to 7-10 year olds at a nearby primary school, to teaching AQA English to GCSE students, and helping an A-Level student receive an offer to study English at the University of Cambridge, I have plenty of experience successfully tutoring and mentoring students from different backgrounds and age ranges. When it comes to my teaching, I am always compassionate, passionate, and detail-orientated.
I have always been passionate about English, and love discussing books, poems and all the ins and outs of my subject with my students. I am an experienced essay-writer and editor, and have published my work in the past. I love to see my students developing a passion for literature like I do, and I always put my all into helping students get to grips with the set texts that they are reading, and the essays that they are writing. I am flexible and hard-working, and I'm always here to help!
My special interests are Early Modern literature (the Material Renaissance), realist novels, and contemporary diasporic poetry, but I am flexible and open to all areas of literature and its contexts: 3 years at Cambridge has prepared me to tackle any sort of material enthusiastically and in detail. I never hold back on knowledge when I am talking with my students, and I always make sure that my lessons are both accessible and at the highest quality!

Hello! I'm Fargol, and I've just graduated from the University of Cambridge with a degree in English. I regularly tutor English literature and English language to a range of students – from SATs, to GCSE, all the way up to A-level and University Admissions.
I am a passionate and detail-orientated tutor with 3+ year of tutoring and mentoring experience. I carefully go through set texts and their contexts with my students; I help students plan and refine exam-style essays; I mark work rigorously but compassionately, and help my students edit and improve their written coursework and mock exams.
I have always been passionate about literature, and my primary aim is to pass on that passion to my students, so that they grow in their enthusiasm for all aspects of the subject, and so that they develop the confidence to discuss different literary genres, modes, and relevant contexts in detail. My lessons are always filled with new and exciting facts, thoughts and pieces of knowledge: I always dedicate my all to my discussions with my students, and I never hold back on the quality of my teaching!
