About Marijke

I have been a teacher in primary and secondary education for over twenty years and I have time, space and inspiration to guide children and newcomers in their learning process. You can count on a patient and creative approach. I am also an authorized internal supervisor, specialized in vocabulary education and language proficiency in Dutch (university subject).

About the lesson

The starting point for my lessons is the experience, skill and interest of the student. Together we look at the goal we want or must achieve and I look for or make varied lessons with it. In addition to the traditional lessons on, I also like to use the tablet (including educational sites, scratch and make a picture book myself)

Perfect! I'm so happy that I found Marijke as 'mijn nieuwe Nederlandse leraar'. She took the time in the beginning to get to know me, find out about my level and where I can best benefit from focussing my time to study. I look forward to me classes and find it very nice and productive to spend time with Marijke every week. She is great at finding resources online that will help me study and make my learning pathway most effective. I'm lucky to have Marijke as my teacher :)
