About Sean
Are you staring at complex equations wondering where it all went wrong? I get it. Maths can feel overwhelming, but it doesn’t have to be. As a 19-year-old Medical Student at the University of Glasgow, I recently walked in your shoes and know exactly what it takes to conquer the SQA exams.
Having achieved A1s in both Higher and Advanced Higher Maths, I know the curriculum inside out—and I know how to make it make sense.
Instead of treating maths like a memory test, I want to help you understand it like a language. When maths becomes intuitive, you stop panicking about memorising formulae and start understanding how they work. This means you'll be ready to tackle whatever weird or unpredictable curveballs the exam board throws your way
Because I am a student myself, our sessions will feel like two peers working through problems together in a relaxed, stress-free environment. There are no silly questions here. We go entirely at your pace until the concept finally clicks.

My lessons are targeted for students studying Maths of level National 5 to Advanced Higher Maths, GCSE and A level.
A typical lesson would last for an hour. We will go through new topics, revise old ones, do questions together and work on any areas you would like to improve on.
I have previous experience teaching maths to younger students. My teaching style aims to provide an intuitive understanding for students. By going through questions step by step, I hope to give students a rigorous and systematic way to solve problems.
