About Serena
I am from a small island called Mauritius found in the indian ocean. I speak three languages fluently and have a small understanding of spanish. I now live in Canada for about 13 years. I went to university and followed my dream of becoming an early years teacher. I have my teaching certificate and I cannot wait to become a full time French Immersion teacher in the future.

I make my lessons fun and try to create a fun and creative environment for my students. I am more of an early years teacher. As for a lesson plan: I always starts either with a song or story to activate students mind, we talk about the story or song. We do an activity together. I explain the concepts. Then they try to do it by themselves. ( I do, we do, you do). I assess by observing students progress and think about where they need to improve for next lesson.
