About Denny
Being a young professional currently working in finance, I chose to devote my free time to teach and mentor students that want to learn what the trombone can offer.
The instrument has limitless benefits, such as scholarship potential for schooling, stress relief, improving confidence, improving patience, and creativity just to name a few.
I truly believe that everyone should try to learn an instrument, as it poses such a benefit on one’s life in a multitude of ways. I want to be able to help and teach anyone eager to learn about the trombone!

Hello! If you’re looking for private lessons to learn, improve, or master the trombone and learn about what the instrument has to offer, I’m your guy!
I picked up the trombone in 5th grade and have been in love with playing ever since. I have professional experience with playing in orchestras, concert, marching, jazz, and trombone ensembles to name a few.
My credibility comes from being an all-west & all-state bands recipient for the West Tennessee School Band and Orchestra Association 5x times (2012-2017).
My leadership stems from previously being a mentor at my college’s business school, and being a drum major for the University of Memphis Mighty sound of the south marching band.

Details
I currently charge a fixed rate of $45/hr with the first lesson/consultation being free. I am open to teaching all students, regardless of age.
