About Basma
Hello, I am Professor Basma Sheta, a university professor, researcher, and ornithologist with extensive experience in teaching biological sciences and supervising academic research. I hold a PhD in Zoology and have published scientific studies in internationally recognised journals. My expertise includes zoology, biodiversity, ecology, wildlife conservation, animal behaviour, environmental statistics, scientific writing, and research methodology.
Throughout my academic career, I have taught undergraduate and postgraduate students, supervised research projects and theses, and trained professionals in biodiversity monitoring and bird identification. I also serve as an adviser for environmental assessments and conservation programmes associated with renewable energy projects in Egypt.
My teaching philosophy is based on clarity, engagement, and scientific rigour. I strive to create a supportive learning environment where students gain confidence, develop critical thinking skills, and achieve their academic goals.
