[ Teaching Method and Techniques ]
As a tutor specializing in Tibetan singing bowl healing, my approach is deeply rooted in experiential learning and personalized instruction. I combine traditional practices with modern understanding, ensuring that students not only learn the techniques but also grasp the underlying principles of sound healing. My method involves a blend of theory, hands-on practice, and reflective meditation, allowing students to connect deeply with the practice.
[ A Typical Lesson Plan ]
1. Introduction and Overview: Each session begins with a brief introduction to the history and principles of Tibetan singing bowls.
2. Sound and Vibration Theory: I explain the science behind sound healing, discussing how vibrations interact with the body and mind to promote healing.
3. Practical Techniques: Students learn various techniques for playing the singing bowls.
4. Healing Session Simulation: We conduct simulated healing sessions where students practice on themselves or others, applying the techniques they’ve learned. This includes positioning of bowls, creating a healing space, and the flow of a session.
5. Guided Meditation and Reflection: Each lesson ends with a guided meditation using the singing bowls, followed by a reflection period where students share their experiences and insights.
6. Q&A and Homework: I provide personalized feedback, answer questions, and assign homework to reinforce learning, such as practicing specific techniques or journaling about their experiences.
