About Elizabeth
Music has been a part of my life since I was in kindergarten, and it's something I’ve always loved deeply. It has shaped who I am and remains the most significant part of my life. Although I wasn’t always sure I would become a good teacher, I’m learning daily and growing alongside my students. Inspired by my teacher, who introduced me to music, I now strive to create the same impact and offer the same opportunities to others. I believe that learning music should be accessible to everyone, and we can discover our most authentic selves through music.

My teaching method is deeply personalized and student-centered, focusing on crafting the best practice regimen based on each student's unique needs. I believe that music is for the soul, and everyone should be able to love what they play. My lessons typically start with learning the instrument, practicing proper techniques, and learning by doing. Together, we set achievable goals and even look for concerts or recitals to join, making the learning process both structured and enjoyable.
My experience working with students of all ages, from early childhood to adults, sets me apart as a tutor. This diverse background allows me to offer specialized lessons tailored to each student's needs. I build strong bonds with my students, ensuring they feel safe and accepted. This trust is the foundation for tremendous musical growth.
I primarily welcome beginner students, regardless of age, eager to learn piano, cello, or music theory. My lessons are inclusive, and everyone is welcome to embark on a musical journey with me.

I first got to know Elizabeth from a music community, she is definitely an impressive teacher! She has a great musicality and is passionate in sharing her knowledge. Learning music through her has been a fun and enjoyable experience, she got me in love with jazz! I love playing duets with her, she plays piano while I play cello or even sing sometimes. I can't recommend her enough to all my friends, it was sad that she has to move out of town but I'm grateful she still accepts online class.
