About Calla
My teaching approach views singing as an inward journey, where each voice reflects a unique story and personal expression. Vocal journaling is a key tool, allowing students to explore emotions, intentions, and creative ideas alongside their sound. I guide learners in developing awareness of vocal placement, fostering resonance and ease without tension. Phrasing is approached with intention, helping every note communicate meaning and feeling. Centering the mind and body prepares the voice to flow freely and confidently. For students seeking emotional grounding, I provide exercises that steady the body and calm the mind. Those desiring creative independence are encouraged to experiment, explore phrasing, and make artistic choices with support. Physical ease is nurtured through mindful movements and relaxed technique. Confidence grows naturally as students connect their voice with their identity and expression. In this space, singing becomes a gentle dialogue between voice, body, and spirit. Lessons honor both technical skill and personal growth, inviting curiosity, presence, and joy. Each session is a step toward singing with authenticity, calm confidence, and heartfelt expression.

I am a singing tutor with over 4 years of experience and a Bachelor of Contemporary Music (Voice Major), passionate about helping students find their authentic voice. My lessons are specially designed to support neurodivergent learners and students who experience anxiety, ensuring a safe and nurturing environment. I use sensory-friendly vocal exercises, visual cues, and gentle routines to make each session accessible and calming.
I focus on genres such as Lullabies, Instrumental Vocalizing, and Calming Pop, blending relaxation with expressive musical growth. Lessons are paced according to each student’s comfort, allowing exploration without pressure or judgment. I encourage students to connect with their voice, emotions, and creativity in ways that feel natural and affirming.
In my studio, every student is celebrated for their individuality, and progress is measured not only in technique but in confidence and joy. I provide tools to support emotional grounding, ease of movement, and self-expression. Small achievements are recognized, helping each learner feel seen and valued.
