About Arshia
Hi, I’m Arshia, a Finance and Economics student at the University of Technology Sydney with a strong passion for education, mentoring, and helping students build confidence in their abilities. I understand that every student learns differently, which is why I focus on creating a supportive and personalized learning environment tailored to each individual’s goals and pace.
Alongside my studies, I work in behavioral finance research and financial analysis, experiences that have strengthened my problem-solving, communication, and analytical skills. I also have experience mentoring and working with students from different academic backgrounds, helping them approach challenging subjects with greater clarity and confidence.
My teaching style is patient, structured, and encouraging. I aim not only to improve academic performance but also to help students develop independent thinking skills and a stronger understanding of the material. Whether a student needs help catching up, preparing for exams, or extending themselves academically, I strive to make lessons engaging, approachable, and productive.
I offer lessons both online and in person across Sydney, and I am committed to maintaining a professional, respectful, and positive learning experience for every student.

My teaching approach is centred around building confidence, understanding, and independent problem-solving skills rather than simple memorisation. I adapt my lessons to each student’s learning style and academic goals, creating a supportive environment where students feel comfortable asking questions and developing their abilities at their own pace.
I break down complex concepts into clear and manageable steps, using real-world examples and interactive problem-solving techniques to make learning more engaging and practical. I also focus on helping students improve exam technique, critical thinking, and long-term academic confidence.
I am currently studying Finance and Economics at the University of Technology Sydney with a strong academic background in mathematics, economics, behavioural finance, and business studies. Alongside tutoring, I have experience in research, financial analysis, and educational initiatives, which has strengthened my communication and mentoring skills.
My lessons are suitable for primary school, high school, and beginner university students depending on the subject area. Sessions are typically 60–90 minutes long and can be conducted online or in person at mutually convenient locations such as libraries and study spaces across Sydney.
