About Naomi
I’m a second-year student at Monash University and a native Vietnamese speaker. I’ve previously tutored students in Vietnam, which has helped me build a patient, structured teaching style and strong communication skills. I understand that everyone learns differently, so I tailor lessons to each student’s goals—whether you want to build confidence for daily conversation, improve pronunciation and tones, or prepare for school assessments. I’m friendly, organized, and focused on helping you make steady progress with clear feedback and practical practice each lesson.

I teach Vietnamese aligned with Australia’s LOTE approach, focusing on real communication and cultural understanding. Lessons are practical and student-centred: we build speaking confidence first, then strengthen listening, reading and writing through themed tasks (daily life, school, travel, family and community). I tailor activities to your level—beginners to intermediate—and support VCE-style outcomes where relevant: vocabulary building, pronunciation/tones, grammar in context, short writing, and conversation practice. Typical lessons are 60 minutes (90-120 minutes available) and include clear goals, guided practice, and simple homework or revision notes.
