About Emily
I was born in Lancashire and moved to London 11 years ago to attend Drama School. It was whilst I was training to become an actor that I discovered yoga. Then, being something that offered a moments peace and reflection in an otherwise chaotic time.
Working in both stage a screen after graduating was a whirlwind of highs and lows, and something I still continue to do today. But it was yoga that was always the constant in my life. After becoming a mother, I decided to undergo my 200hr Yoga Teacher Training - aside from my daughter, one of the best things to have happened to me!
My dream is to share my knowledge with others, allowing them to gain so many of the benefits I myself have gotten from yoga.

I have practiced yoga for the last 11 years and recently completed my 200hr Yoga Teacher Training, specialising in Hatha, Hot and Vinyasa yoga, Pranayama (breath work) and meditation.
My classes are created to suit each student's experience, goals and needs; be it relaxation, relief, strength, self-confidence or flexibility. The 60 minute classes can include a short meditation and pranayama practice followed by asana practice (postures and sequences).
Since becoming a mother, yoga became a real source of help, and it is my greatest passion and drive to pass on this sense of relief and respite to others. I'm hugely passionate about introducing yoga to beginners and helping them build a solid foundation for their practice, working on their body awareness, alignment, understanding of postures and sequences, mobility, and general well-being.
I offer private 1-1 lessons and small group lessons online and in-person. I also work with corporate companies teaching regular classes and events. Please get in touch for any more details.

Emily has taught both of my children since 2020. Not only have they achieved exam success, but many other areas of their curricular and extracurricular activities have noticed a huge boost in confidence and presentation!

Emily is always on time for the lessons and my daughter loves her. She cares and is very passionate and enthusiastic about what she is delivering. I think they are studying monologues at the moment and I love hearing my daughter learning her lines in her room.
