About Shravani
I’m a violin tutor with over 7 years of experience and a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Violin Performance. I specialise in teaching young children using playful, age-appropriate strategies that make learning fun and engaging. I love incorporating storytelling, rhythm games, and movement into my lessons to help kids connect with music naturally. Simple melodies are a key part of my teaching, helping children develop technique and musicianship step by step. My approach is inspired by Suzuki and Kodály methods, which focus on listening, repetition, and a strong musical foundation. I believe that learning the violin should feel like an adventure full of creativity and joy. By using stories and games, I keep students motivated and excited to practice. Every lesson is designed to spark imagination while building skills. I enjoy watching my students grow confident and express themselves through music. My goal is to make the violin a source of happiness and discovery for every child. Learning should never feel like a chore, but a joyful journey. I create a positive, encouraging environment where students feel comfortable taking risks and growing their skills. Developing a strong classical repertoire is important, and I guide students through pieces that build technique and musical understanding. My methodology balances technical exercises with fun, engaging music to keep students motivated. I use clear explanations and hands-on practice to help each person progress at their own pace. I believe that building confidence is just as important as improving skill. Through consistent practice and encouragement, students gain the tools they need to excel. Whether preparing for performances or simply enjoying playing, I support every step of the journey. Together, we make learning the violin both rewarding and inspiring.
