About Abbie
Abbie has been training under various voice teachers for over 10 years in styles including jazz, musical theater, pop, and opera. Through these lessons, she has learned music theory, vocal health, technique, and many other things that equip her to be able to effectively coach her students. In addition to her time in voice lessons, she has also been performing on stage for over 8 years, allowing her to coach the student on both the vocal and acting side, which very often go hand in hand. This makes Abbie's lessons both unique and fun. She has been coaching students for 2 years and hopes to continue for many years to come.

A typical lesson will include:
- A technique focused warmup
- Singing through repertoire or learning new songs while building vocal technique, strength, consistency, and basic knowledge of music theory
- Lessons may also include finding new repertoire, learning about vocal health, acting coaching, performance coaching, etc.
- Acting and singing often go hand in hand. If the student desires, lessons can include both singing and acting as both affect each other.
Abbie's goal is to train students with great technique and give the students the ability to "coach themselves". When practicing alone, it is important to have the tools to be able to correct yourself, and it also gives the student the knowledge to truly know everything that is going on with their voice, which equips them for success later on in life.
Lessons will also focus heavily on teaching students to sing healthily. Abbie wants to train students for a lifelong career in singing, and a big part of that is making sure that every student not only sounds good when they sing, but feels good as well.
These lessons are great for elementary aged to high school students.
