About Natalia
I recently completed my degree in classical voice performance at McGill, where I was trained to sing in multiple languages (including French, German, Italian, Spanish, Czech, etc) and learned from internationally recognized professionals in the field. Outside of school, I trained in Pop and Jazz, learning to diversify my styles and adapt my technique to each genre. I also received coaching in the Balkans, learning to incorporate various rhythmic elements and vocal effects that are distinct to the region. My love for singing is expansive, with my favorite genres being RnB and Soul, and I have released music on all streaming platforms that mix my favorite genres into one. Being a music director for an a cappella group throughout my degree taught me a lot about being a singing instructor, coaching 16 individuals at once to create a unified sound, and providing guidance for soloists.

Voice lessons are about developing your individual and unique sound, and applying it to your favorite musical genres. We will focus on both technique and artistry, working with methods that suit your learning style to achieve the results you desire.
Depending on your level of study, we will either begin to cover the basics of breath support and how to approach learning new music, or delve into more nuanced approaches to viewing the body as an instrument. Through discussions of tongue posture, tension, and stylistic choices, we'll work together to grow your voice and confidence in singing!
