About Saul
I am a highly skilled tutor with 8 years experience and an English degree from Oxford University. I have taught EFL, English Literature and English Language for a wide range of ages (from 6-year-olds to mature students in their 50s!), for a very diverse range of exams (8+, 11+, GCSE, A-Level, ISEB, IELTS and many more). I have also taught a range of humanities subjects (Philosophy, History etc.). I have helped hundreds of students get top marks in their exams.
I have a real passion for learning that I love to share with my students. I have chosen tutoring to be my profession because I get enormous enjoyment from helping others learn, grow and become the best version of themselves! I find one-on-one tutoring to be a uniquely powerful way to learn.

My tutoring style can vary depending on the student, but in general I am a patient, calm and affable tutor. My tutees (and parents of tutees) have often described me as someone students can immediately feel relaxed around, which I am delighted to hear — this is definitely the best environment for learning. I do believe in setting high standards and expectations from my students, so that they can come to my lessons prepared to push themselves to reach the next level.
